CE Policy & Pre-Approved Events
The CE Policy outlined below is effective January 1, 2021. CPYB certification is maintained by completing 21 hours of continuing education over a three-year period. CE can be earned by attending, in real-time, industry training, workshops and seminars. Certificants can check their CE balance at any time by signing into your account and clicking the View/Print My CE link viewable upon login.

CE for pre-approved programs, where attendance is reported by the sponsoring organization, is typically uploaded to accounts within 3 business days of receiving the attendance report from the sponsor. Self-Reported CE is typically uploaded within 3 business days of receipt.
(1) Programs eligible for CE: Dealer Meetings; Factory Tours; Partner Assn workshops/conferences; maritime training and informational programs
(2) Partner Association Membership is confirmed before renewal. At renewal, 3-hours of CE will be uploaded to the Certificants account with the assumption of membership throughout the recertification timeframe
